Twitter Winner!

Ooops. I was meant to announce the Twitter Giveaway winner last night, but... well I've been a little distracted by The Killing and the Craft Fair and somehow forgot about it. Sorry! But anyway, I won't keep you in suspense any longer - it's time to tell you who won the giveaway.

I have an incredibly technical system going on here at Creating Trouble, using all the latest technology available... it's called Pen & Paper and involved me writing a slip for every entrant...

...and then using the other incredibly technical method of choosing a slip of paper. Actually I got my lovely flatmate to do that particular part so that there was an independent adjudicator. And here is the winner:

Twitter Giveaway

Well, well... I said I would hold another giveaway when I reached 1,000 followers on twitter and... well I'm hosting another giveaway so I guess I must have 1,000 followers!

I had a bit of a dilemma about this giveaway as I wasn't really sure what to give away. But I have realised that the bestseller in my Etsy shop are my bunny bags, so despite having had a bunny-bag giveaway once before, I am going to give those who didn't win last time the opportunity to win a brand new bunny bag! This time it's a pink one...

So, if you would like to own a pink bunny bag here is what you need to do...

1) As this is a twitter giveaway, you need to be a follower of create_trouble  All you need to do is leave a comment on this blog with your twitter name.

2) For an extra entry though... tweet about this giveaway - make sure you reference create_trouble so that I know though!

3) For additional entries (one for each) you can: like my facebook page and/ or start following this blog. Be sure to leave a comment for each additional entry though.

I will count up all the entries, get an independent person to pick one and announce a winner on 19th March.

Blogger Winner!!

Well a little later than I previously hoped, I have finally got around to the results of the blog giveaway. In case you have forgotten, the prize is a fabulous blue lotsa bunnies tote bag and you can see it here. Anyway, as I am not a very technical bunny my method of finding a winner is the old-fashioned write everyone's names down and pick them out of a hat... or in this case a bowl. Are you excited yet? Shall I reveal who won?

All the names were put into a bowl - in today's case it was our ultra heavy mortar... hmmm wonder where the pestle has got to?

I put my hand in, closed my eyes and picked out a piece of paper which for some reason I felt the need to put on the floor beside the bowl and take a photo of before I opened it...

But then of course I did open it... and the lucky winner is:

For those of you who didn't get the bunny bag - bunny bags are available in my Etsy store and I'm sure I'll be doing another giveaway at some point in the near enough future. What should the next goal be? 500 facebook followers? 1000 tweeps? 200 GFC followers? hmmmm - what do you think?

Well well well, I promised a giveaway when this blog had 100 followers... and now it does! Hurray! Thank you so much to everyone who has supported Creating Trouble getting to where it presently is - I really appreciate your comments, advice, participation and the fact that you take time out to read some of my ramblings! So, in recognition of that, I'm really happy to announce this giveaway!

So the Twitter Giveaway ended last night and it's time for me to reveal who the winner is. First of all though, thank you to everyone who entered and who wrote lovely comments on my blog. As I'm not the world's most techy person I had to use the good old 'pick-a-name' method. I've just spent about an hour going through Twitter and everyone's names etc and writing each one on a separate slip of paper.

Having put all the pieces into a box I asked Andy to pick one out of the box for me. Which after attempting to throw them all on the floor he finally did, and so I can now reveal the Twitter Winner:

As this is my first one, I'm starting small... so it's your chance to win one of my unique designed cards. The material for this card came from India and there's hardly any left - which means that actually this really is a unique card as there won't be many more of these!
