That Friday Feeling...13/09/11

You may have missed my Friday Feeling post last week. That's because I've just gone back to school (for those of you who aren't aware, I'm a primary school teacher, presently with Year 6). I have not stopped working, thinking about work, stressing about work and generally being work focused for the past week and as a result my blog has suffered a little. I am sorry...

But it did jump out the theme for the Friday Feeling post... BACK TO SCHOOL!! While I work in an area where children come to school equipped with absolutely nothing other than themselves, I know that in the U.S. for examples, parents are asked to equip their children with all sorts of things for the upcoming year. So here are some cute items that I have found on Etsy which may (or may not) be useful - they are all definitely cute!!

That brought back memories of trips to Staples and pound shops. My school was in an affluent area. The Mercs and the BMWs were better equipped than the children.
Good luck with this year's children!

I'm in love with the chalkboard sign, but not for my children. I don't have any of those! :-) I'd love it for my hubby. It would hang from the front door knob and say: "Don't forget your keys!"..."Don't forget your cell phone!"...Long story. LOL...Great picks!

Debbie - I would be writing things like: 'Don't forget to turn the lights off', 'Rubbish' etc etc... I love the idea of it though. I found a recipe for chalkboard paint somewhere and can't wait to try it out!

Cat - I have a bit of a thing for stationary: I have to stop myself from going into Art stores or places like Paperchase / Staples / Ryman as I get lost in them and want to buy some of everything!
